Dr. Abhinav Aggarwal

Dr. Abhinav Aggarwal has done his DM Cardiology from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and MD Internal Medicine from PGIMER, Chandigarh. He has also completed his training in advanced interventional cardiology from Asan Medical Center, Korea and was a visiting fellow at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA. His areas of expertise include complex coronary angioplasties(multivessel, bifurcation, ostial and left main angioplasties, rotablation) using advanced imaging modalities like FFR, IVUS and OCT. He also has considerable experience in treating chronic total occlusions, bifurcation lesions, vein graft diseases and restenosis. He is also an expert in adult pediatric interventions like ASD, VSD device closure, balloon valvuloplasties. He is also involved in setting up of interventions for peripheral arterial diseases and structural heart interventions like TAVR at our institute. His other areas of expertise include permanent pacemaker implantation (PPI), automated implantable cardioverter defibrillator (AICD) and CRT-D implantation.
