Dr. Vaid heads the cancer institute at Medanta - The Medicity hospital and has several decades of clinical experience. He is known for carrying out the first 25 bone marrow transplants. He's conducted more than 40 international and national studies in clinical research. Dr. Vaid's expertise is in the areas of organ-specific cancer treatments, leukemias, solid tumours and lymphomas.
Dr. Vaid is an expert in managing patients of brain cancer, blood cancer, bone cancer, esophageal cancer, stomach cancer, colon cancer, rectal cancer, thyroid cancer, liver cancer, kidney cancer, pancreatic cancer, testicular cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, cervical cancer etc. at Medanta in Gurgaon.
Dr. Vaid has completed his MBBS from University of Jammu, J&K, India in 1984, MD (internal medicine) from University of Jammu, J&K, India in 1989 and DM (medical oncology) from Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, India in 1993.
