Dr. Avdhesh Bansal

Dr. Bansal is a Senior Consultant & Clinical Co-Ordinator for Department of Respiratory, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, India. He's thirty nine years of clinical experience, nine in General Medicine and last thirty years in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care, conducting and teaching all the common procedures in the specialty. I spend almost 60% work time in respiratory medicine, 35% in Critical care and 5% in Sleep Medicine. Dr. Bansal has done more than 20,000 Bronchoscopies, more than 4000 Transbronchial Lung Biopsies, Transbronchial Needle Aspiration and Percutaneous Lung Aspiration and Biopsies. Also doing therapeutic work like balloon dilatation, electro-cautery and cryo through bronchoscope in Ca lung and benign strictures.
