Dr. (Col.) Chandra Shekhar Pant

Dr. Col CS Pant is a pioneer in the field of early breast cancer detection and is an authority in the field of mammography. After a distinguished career in the armed forces spanning over 25 years, he established a state-of-the-art breast cancer diagnosis center in Green Park, New Delhi. He is a Core member of the group constituted by IAEA Vienna for developing strategies for through Imaging for Member States. Col Pant’s Imaging Centre is considered as a one stop facility for early breastcancer detection. The entire patient workup is done in less than 24 hrs so that patient can approach the concerned specialist in the shortest possible time. Over the years thousands of patients have been benefitted because of prompt diagnostic services. A large number of these patients had very small ( < 1.0cms ) lesions which were successfully targetted and diagnosed, thus not only offering minimal surgery with no chemotherapy but achieving full cure in most of the cases.
