Dr. Hemalini Preetam Samant

Dr. Hemalini Samant is a Pediatric Ophthalmologist and a Neuro Ophthalmologist of national repute. After having successfully completing her MS ophthalmology from Grant Medical College - JJ Hospital she went on to pursue her fellowship in Paediatric and Neuro ophthalmology from Sankara Nethralaya IN 1999. She served as a fellow and thereafter as an Associate Consultant there from 2000 to 2004. She is a Honorary Consultant in Jaslok Hospital where she is guide for DNB student and an Honorary Professor in the ophthalmology dept of JJ Hospital and Grant Medical College. Here she performs 7 squint surgeries in a week and participates in teaching post graduates. She has been a delegate in several International conferences and has been a faculty and has held instruction courses in various National conferences.
