Dr. Neema Sharma is the Director in the department of minimal and natural access gynae and gynae cancer surgery and obstetrics at Fortis Flt. Lt. Rajan Dhall Hospital, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. Dr. Sharma has more than 20 years of experience and a PG degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MD), MRCOG and FRCOG degree from London. She has clinical and research experience, award winning papers, publications and poster presentations to her credit.
Dr. Sharma has been trained in laparoscopies, hysteroscopies and Gynae surgeries under Dr Urvashi Prasad Jha (a renowned Gynae Endoscopic surgeon), and received Fellowship in Gynae Endoscopy under her supervision. She was the Chairman of the AOGD Endoscopy committee 2015-17, member of FOGSI endometriosis society, the Editor of the AOGD bulletin for the year 2014-2015, faculty for the Laparoscopic Hysterectomy course at Ethicon Institute and faculty for the hysteroscopy courses at Fortis Vasant Kunj.
Dr. Sharma also did a structured training in Urogynaecology from Kasturba Gandhi Hospital, Chennai, advanced laparoscopy course under Dr Urvashi Prasad Jha and FOGSI certified ultrasound course. She has completed the Robotic Da Vinci Xi Surgeon Assessment training module and got the certificate of Assistant (Amrita Hospital).
