Dr. Preetam Samant is an accomplished ophthalmologist with many outstanding achievements. He completed his fellowship from UK with a gold medal and another fellowship in Vitreoretina from Sankara Nethralaya. He also worked as a faculty at Sankara Nethralaya for three years. Dr. Samant is current working as a consultant and head of retina services at PD Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. Dr. Samant has done more than 5000 retinal surgeries and more than 5000 laser procedures. He was on the editorial board of Indian Journal of Ophthalmology and has held the post of hon. secreteary of Maharashtra Ophthalmic Society.
